Voyager Technologies (VOYG) said Tuesday that its infrastructure-class lunar lander, Griffin Mission One, completed acceptance testing, which it said is a critical step toward its goal of launching it to the Moon before the end of the year.
The company said the testing verified the lunar lander's systems performance and confirmed the spacecraft's readiness for the next phase of the launch preparation.
It said the mission will carry 10 payloads from six countries to the lunar South Pole, including payloads from NASA, the European Space Agency, and other partners.
Griffin-1 is now returning to Voyager's Lunar Systems headquarters in Pittsburgh, where the company said it will complete final preparations before being sent to Cape Canaveral, Florida for its launch.
Shares of Voyager Technologies were down 1.8%.
