Dow Jones10-14 18:03
1003 GMT - The euro is struggling to recover momentum, dropping to its lowest since June 2025 against sterling, even as the dollar drops back from a recent 18-month high against a basket of currencies. The euro has struggled particularly against non-dollar currencies, suggesting that France's budget concerns continue to weigh on the currency, ING's Francesco Pesole says in a note. The euro falls 0.1% to $1.1192 against the dollar and could drop toward $1.1150 in the coming days, he says. Against sterling, the euro loses 0.1% to hit a 16-month low of 0.8433 pounds, LSEG data show.
