Sanofi (SNY) said Thursday it completed negotiations with the pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance and signed a letter of intent covering Dupixent, or dupilumab, for four additional indications.
The agreement covers pediatric atopic dermatitis, prurigo nodularis, severe chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Sanofi said it plans to work with public payers to support access for eligible patients through public drug plans.
Dupixent is jointly developed by Sanofi and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (REGN) and is authorized in Canada for several inflammatory conditions across different age groups, the company said.
Shares of Sanofi were up 1.4% in Thursday afternoon trading.
