JPMorgan Chase (JPM) is considering options for a new debt sale for Qualtrics International after the underwriters were left with more than $5 billion in loans earlier this year, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
One option to finance Qualtrics' acquisition of Press Ganey Forsta is to offer investors a smaller deal, splitting the debt almost evenly between high-yield bonds and leveraged loans, according to the report. That could involve selling about $2 billion in each market, the report said.
The debt could also include additional protections for lenders, similar to those offered in recent software company transactions, Bloomberg said.
JPMorgan did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
