SpaceX (SPCX) artificial intelligence policy head Gabriela Castillo Madrid will testing Friday in the New York City Council's AI safety investigation, CNBC reported the same day.

CNBC said SpaceX had initially evaded the city council's requests and a subpoena for its participation in the probe, with executives from OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta Platforms (META) and Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google.

SpaceX did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for a comment.
