MT Newswires Live10-16

Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic has reached out to New York City Comptroller Mark Levine after he sent a letter Wednesday urging the company to delay its initial public offering, Levine said Friday on Bloomberg Television.

In the letter, addressed to Chief Executive Dario Amodei, Levine implored the artificial intelligence lab to pause the IPO until it fully addresses safety and governance concerns it has raised, according to the report.

Anthropic didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
