Shanghai International Airport's (SHA:600009) Pudong International Airport handled 7.5 million passengers in September, up 7.5% year over year, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Pudong's cargo and mail throughput jumped 17% to 409,200 tons, while flight movements rose 6.4% to 48,773.
Meanwhile, Hongqiao International Airport handled 4.2 million passengers, up 3.5% from a year earlier, with flight movements growing 2.2% to 23,770 and cargo and mail throughput climbing 2.4% to 41,200 tons.
