Eikon Therapeutics (EIKN) submitted an investigational new drug application to the US Food and Drug Administration to evaluate EIK1006 for advanced metastatic prostate cancer, the company said Thursday.
EIK1006 is a novel androgen receptor antagonist designed to target wild-type and clinically relevant receptor variants while maintaining favorable pharmaceutical properties, Eikon said.
The company will assess whether the drug candidate's properties can deliver clinical benefits for patients with advanced prostate cancer, it added.
