Wee Hur (SGX:E3B) said Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, has issued it a letter of award to develop and operate an about 1,398-bed purpose-built student accommodation facility at the university's Yunnan Campus.
The project will be undertaken through a special purpose vehicle, with construction targeted to start in the third quarter of 2027 and operations expected to begin by the start of the 2029/30 academic year, subject to approvals.
The parties are working to finalize a definitive agreement, it said.
