Falcon Metals (ASX:FAL) received assay results for the first five reverse circulation drill holes at Olsen Well, a greenfield craton-margin gold prospect within its Errabiddy gold project in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 12 meters at 2.8 grams per tonne gold from surface, including four meters at 4.7 g/t gold from surface.
The company said the results confirm a high-grade bedrock source to the previously defined extensive soil and rock-chip gold anomaly, which extends over 5.8 kilometers of strike.
The company is currently focusing the drilling on defining the extent of the mineralized structure, with the program expanded to 7,000 meters, while assays are pending for a further 30 completed holes, the filing added.
