Clearfield's founding chief executive, Cheri Beranek, is retiring early next year.

Clearfield on Tuesday said Beranek, who has been at the helm of the provider of fiber-optic management, protection and delivery solutions since its inception in 2008, plans to retire effective March 31, 2027.

The Brooklyn Park, Minn., company said it will consider internal and external candidates to succeed Beranek, who will remain in her post until the earlier of the appointment of her successor or her retirement date.

Clearfield said Beranek will continue employment with the company in a nondirector role, with the title of president and CEO emeritus.

The company also said it expects its fourth quarter and full-year fiscal 2026 financial results will be in line with the guidance it provided in early August.
