Boeing (BA) is set to receive the Federal Aviation Administration's approval for its 737 MAX 10 aircraft, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.
US Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is expected to announce the FAA certification Tuesday during a planned visit to a Boeing factory in Everett, Washington, sources told the news outlet.
The long-delayed 737 MAX 10 was initially slated for deliveries starting in 2020, Reuters said.
The FAA and Boeing did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
