Ascletis Pharma (HKG:1672) said its once-weekly oral peptide drug pipeline showed positive preclinical results, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The lead candidate, ASC36o, is undergoing a Phase 1 study in the U.S., with initial human pharmacokinetic data expected by the end of 2026.
The company said two fixed-dose combination candidates also showed longer half-lives and higher bioavailability in preclinical studies.
Ascletis expects to submit U.S. investigational new drug applications for four additional once-weekly oral peptide programs in the fourth quarter.
