TBI Motion Technology (TPE:4540) and its Suzhou subsidiary have been named as co-defendants in a trademark infringement lawsuit filed by Bangjia Holding (Lishui), according to a Monday filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

The plaintiff filed the civil complaint at the Ningbo Intermediate People's Court of Zhejiang Province, seeking 10 million yuan in compensation for alleged economic losses and requesting that the defendants cover all related litigation costs.

The filing, which serves as an update to a legal dispute initially disclosed in July, noted that the subsidiary has engaged legal counsel to actively respond to the lawsuit and protect its interests.

TBI Motion said a preliminary assessment indicates the case will not have a material impact on its financial condition or business operations, which continue to function normally.
