Shanjin International Gold's (SHE:000975) unit, Jilin Banmiaozi Mining, was required to make supplementary payments amounting to 287.2 million yuan due to not meeting tax policy requirements for high-tech enterprises, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing over the weekend.
The Chinese mining company's shares rose 1% during Monday's afternoon trade.
The findings were made after a self-inspection of tax-related matters between 2023 and 2025.
