Northern Minerals (ASX:NTU) said the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has granted further extensions for holding its 2025 and 2026 annual general meetings (AGM) until Mar. 31, 2027, or within 42 business days of formal treasury notification confirming full compliance with the May disposal orders, whichever occurs first, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The extension is intended to facilitate the completion of the required share disposals and the assessment of suspected non-compliance with the orders, the filing said.
The company postponed the two AGMs scheduled for Nov. 25, pending treasury confirmation of full compliance, with new dates to be set in due course, the filing added.
The company's shares rose around 4% in recent Monday trade.
