AIC Mines Intersects Two Zones of Anomalous Mineralization at Queensland Prospect

MT Newswires Live09:35

AIC Mines (ASX:A1M) said a diamond drill hole at the Oro Grande prospect at its Eloise regional project in Queensland intersected two distinct zones of anomalous mineralization, including an upper copper-gold-silver zone and a lower gold-zinc zone, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The lower zone returned the best result of 5.6 meters at 5.1 grams per tonne grade of gold from 493 meters, per the filing.

The electromagnetic conductors targeted by the drilling remain open up and down-dip, and over a strike length of one kilometer, the company said.

It added that the presence of high-grade gold and anomalous copper and zinc mineralization warrants follow-up drilling, which is planned for the 2027 field season.

AIC Mines shares fell 1% in recent Monday trade.
