Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google Chief Executive Sundar Pichai received a letter Wednesday from Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) and Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) asking for information on the impact the company's AI products have had on the mental health and educational development of children, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

Google's "aggressive push of A.I. products to children in schools is threatening the academic success and overall wellbeing of an entire generation," the senators reportedly said.

Google didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
