Nexstar Media Group's (NXST) Tegna and the Houston Comets entered a multiyear agreement making KHOU and KTBU the local television home of the WNBA team's games.
Beginning with the 2027 season, games will air free over-the-air on KTBU, with select matchups also shown on KHOU, Tegna's CBS affiliate in Houston.
The games will be simulcast on Space City Home Network, the team's regional sports network, and on SCHN+, Tegna said Thursday in a statement.
Tegna and KHOU will also assist with advertising and sponsorship sales for the broadcasts.
