Rockwell Automation (ROK) said Thursday that it is expanding its FactoryTalk Conductor industrial artificial intelligence platform to support NVIDIA Nemotron open models.
The company said the integration combines Nemotron models with Rockwell-verified AI agents and tools to coordinate engineering tasks and industrial workflows.
Rockwell said the expanded platform gives manufacturers more flexibility in deploying AI, including the option to keep engineering and production data within their own environments.
The approach also allows companies to retain greater control over infrastructure, governance, and costs, according to the company.
Shares of Rockwell Automation and NVIDIA were down 1.9% and 2.5%, respectively, pre-bell.
