Market Chatter: Anthropic, Hg Plan European AI Consultancy for Corporate Clients

MT Newswires Live10-23 17:47

Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic has partnered with London-based private equity firm Hg to launch an independent consultancy helping European companies adopt AI, the Financial Times reported Friday, citing unnamed people familiar with the matter.

The consultancy is expected to launch by year-end, with hubs in London and Berlin, and will embed AI experts at corporate clients to develop AI products and support existing technology initiatives, according to the report.

Anthropic will invest its own capital in the venture, while Hg will invest through funds it manages, including its London-listed HgCapital Trust, the report added.

Anthropic and Hg didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
