Webull Financial (BULL) on late Tuesday was accused by the House Select Committee on China of making false statements about its China ties following a bipartisan investigation into potential risks to US investors' data.

The committee said Webull's China-based subsidiary employed 863 people at the end of 2025, representing 62% of its workforce, and cited disclosures allowing overseas affiliates to access customer information.

It also highlighted past regulatory actions against Webull, including a $500,000 Massachusetts fine and a $125,000 SEC penalty.

Webull Financial did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
