With the Deako acquisition completed and fresh quarterly numbers now on the table, the question is simple: What clues were already on record about code dependence, losses and builder adoption before any of that played out? The move put SKYX Platforms in the middle of this trade. Scan 42 power grid technology and infrastructure stocks for other companies exposed to it. AdvertisementThe Two SKYX Platforms Stories Investors Had To Weigh The shares cost US$2.17 at the start of the period, and anyone looking at SKYX Platforms then had to choose between two very different stories. The upbeat case put fair value at US$3.13. This was a rough estimate of what the stock might be worth if National Electrical Code momentum translated into broad, code driven use of SKYX ceiling platforms and recurring sales. The cautious view anchored on a fair value of US$2. This was built on the concern that regulatory approval could drag, builder adoption might stay slow, and intense price competition would pressure margins. NasdaqCM:SKYX Trailing 12-Month Earnings & Revenue History as at Oct 2026 What The Results Changed For SKYX Platforms The Deako deal turned SKYX Platforms into a larger smart-lighting platform, which supported the upbeat story about expanding into new markets. The Q2 2026 report showed revenue of US$25.27m and a loss of US$8.48m, with net margin improving to negative 33.6%. Losses still kept profitability uncertain, so the evidence cut both ways. The whole episode turned on whether code and product momentum would show up in cleaner income statements. For any similar business, it can be useful to track net margin direction and absolute losses after each expansion push or acquisition. What SKYX Platforms' Price Drop Now Asks You To Believe SKYX Platforms now trades at US$0.9, after a share price that is down 62% from the start of the year. The selected Narrative still places its Fair Value above that level, based on how the enlarged platform could eventually use its footprint. Instead of treating the lower price as its own verdict, the Narrative leans on SKYX Platforms converting its installed hardware, builder reach and hotel projects into a much higher mix of recurring and data driven revenue. A buyer today would be relying on that shift actually taking hold. \"The key requirement for the strategy to work is that SKYX Platforms converts its installed base, hotel and smart-community projects, Deako builder access, and licensing relationships into a higher mix of recurring, subscription, and data-driven revenues that can narrow the gap from ongoing losses to the management objective of achieving cash-flow positive operations by the end of 2026.\" Not everyone reads the same price the same way. → See the higher figure this Narrative lands on, and how it gets there Another Electric Question For SKYX Reading SKYX Platforms, you keep bumping into one theme. Buildings, homes and hotels all need dependable electricity behind the smart hardware. Somewhere else in the market, one business focuses on that grid work. It supplies turbines, transformers and control systems that keep power flowing. Your ceiling platform only matters if circuits stay live and stable. Data centers, factories and cities lean on this heavy kit to stay switched on. That raises a different kind of question. What happens to a power equipment specialist when electricity demand reshapes entire grids? It is written up in full, assumptions and all. → Explore the Narrative that puts this company 43% above its price This article by Simply Wall St is general in nature.
