Anta Sports Products' 3Q Earnings Could be Weighed by Discounts, Puma
Dow Jones10-23
0249 GMT - Anta Sports Products' 3Q earnings per share could be weighed by deeper-than-expected discounts and the completed acquisition of its stake in loss-making Puma, says China Galaxy International analysts in a note. The Chinese sportswear company's 3Q retail sales dropped on-year by a mid-single-digit percentage, likely reflecting softer demand, extreme weather and intensified industry promotions, they say. The analysts cut their 2026-2028 EPS estimates by 8%-11%. China Galaxy International cuts its target price to 108.00 Hong Kong dollars from HK$120.00 but retains its add rating as Anta could improve its margins in 2027-2028.Shares rise 3.5% to HK$75.55.
