AstraZeneca (AZN) reported Thursday the US availability of Zegfrovy for the treatment of adults with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer whose tumors have epidermal growth factor receptor exon 20 insertion mutations.
The company said the drug is approved for patients whose disease has progressed on or after platinum-based chemotherapy.
AstraZeneca also said it has filed an application with the US Food and Drug Administration and China's Center for Drug Evaluation to approve Zegfrovy as a first-line treatment.
