QuantumScape (QS) reported a Q3 loss late Wednesday of $0.14 per diluted share, wider than a loss of $0.18 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.17.

Shares of QuantumScape rose over 9% in after-hours trading.
