Brown & Brown (BRO) said Thursday that it has launched Compass, a platform that pulls the brokerage's data, analytics, and artificial intelligence tools together to help customers judge risk and choose coverage.
Health plan customers using the company's analytics saw five-year cost growth average under 4%, against an industry norm of about 7% to 9%, the company said.
For one client, analysis from the platform drove an insurance restructuring that cut premium spending by 65% while lowering risk volatility, Brown & Brown said.
The company said it has more customer tools planned for early next year.
Shares of the company were up 2.5% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
