SentinelOne's (S) launch of an agentic detection and response offering for AI agent runtime security presents a meaningful opportunity to address a key roadblock to enterprise adoption of agentic technology, Oppenheimer said in a Friday research note.
Key feature enhancements, re-packaging, and new monetization methods for its AI security operations center products could also ease deployment and accelerate adoption, analysts wrote.
Oppenheimer also highlighted progress in SentinelOne's channel-led growth strategy, noting that an initial group of partners has been enabled to offer new products and services, with broader rollout expected in the coming months.
Customer feedback was broadly positive, with roughly 75% of customers surveyed by the firm expecting to increase spending on SentinelOne over the next year and more than 60% saying its offerings were becoming more critical to their security stack as AI-powered attacks proliferate.
Oppenheimer reiterated its outperform rating on the stock, with a $27 price target.
Shares of SentinelOne were up 4.3% in Friday afternoon trading.
