Alphabet's Google Cloud Announces General Availability of Anthropic-Managed Deployment Option for Claude Models

Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) unit Google Cloud said Friday an Anthropic-managed deployment option for Claude models is now generally available on Google Cloud.

The move is expected to help users consolidate AI workloads on Google Cloud alongside the existing deployment option managed by Google itself.

"Both options deliver the same frontier models on day zero, the same pricing, and the same Google Cloud billing," the company said. "The difference comes down to who acts as your data processor and whether you need access to the new Claude platform features when they launch."

On Thursday, Anthropic said Claude models on Google Cloud, managed by the AI firm, is available with US and Global endpoints.
