UL Solutions (ULS) opened an expanded Ho Chi Minh City facility to enhance local testing and compliance support for manufacturers and retailers in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
The expanded laboratory will test items including retail and consumer products, electrical and electronic products, power tools, and lawn and garden equipment, the company said late Monday. It widens testing capabilities for product safety, chemicals, indoor air quality, and environmental assessments.
The company also said it expects the move to reduce testing complexity and lead times by accessing a broader range of services in one location.
