Guotai Haitong Securities Unit to Form Shanghai Linghang Sci-Tech Fund

Guotai Haitong Securities (SHA:601211, HKG:2611) unit Guotai Haitong Capital Investment plans to establish a fund in the form of a limited partnership in the near future, a Wednesday bourse filing showed.

Guotai Haitong Capital, General Partner ICBC Capital Management, Limited Partner Shanghai International Group Asset Management, and other limited partners are expected to make initial capital contributions of 4 billion yuan, 10 million yuan, 2 billion yuan, and 14 billion yuan, respectively. In addition to being a general partner, Guotai Haitong Capital will also be the fund manager.

The fund, named Shanghai Linghang Sci-Tech Fund (Limited Partnership), will invest exclusively in the underlying funds approved by the partners.

ICBC Capital Management is a unit of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (SHA:601398, HKG:1398).
