ICRA has reaffirmed its issuer ratings for ICICI Bank (BOM:532174, NSE:ICICIBANK) at 'AAA' with a stable outlook, expecting the lender to maintain a steady credit profile through its retail network, according to a bourse filing on Saturday.
The ratings firm said it expects the bank's credit costs to rise slightly in the near term but will remain comfortably below operating profitability, given its robust portfolio of assets.
ICRA also reaffirmed and withdrew ratings on ICICI's infrastructure bonds, long-term bonds, and Basel III Tier II bonds of 9.45 billion Indian rupees, the bank said.
