Livzon Pharmaceutical Group (HKG:1513) said China's National Medical Products Administration approved clinical trials for two drug candidates.
One candidate, Tiange Dingxuan Granules, is a traditional Chinese medicine being developed to treat vestibular migraine, which can cause recurring dizziness and vertigo, according to Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filings. The other, an experimental antibody, is being developed to prevent blood clots following total knee arthroplasty.
Both products must undergo clinical trials and further regulatory review before they can be marketed, the drugmaker said.
