Dutch beer group Heineken is scheduled to report sales results for the third quarter of the year on Wednesday morning. Here is what you need to know.
SALES FORECAST:
The world's second-largest brewer should book organic growth in total volumes, which also include licensed volumes, of 2.9% on year, according to a consensus of analysts' estimates provided by the company. Rising volumes should push consolidated revenue up by 3.5% on year to 7.98 billion euros ($8.92 billion), consensus suggests, implying some additional boost to the top line from pricing. Volumes grew 1.9% on year over the previous quarter.
WHAT TO WATCH
--SHARES: In line with many players in the booze business, Heineken recorded a steady decline in its share price beginning a few years ago, as high inflation added to costs and dampened drinkers' spending power. But Amsterdam-listed shares have recovered this year, rising some 10% since the beginning of 2026 as investors gain confidence in the company's ability to turn things around. A new chief executive, installed this month, could add to a sense of a rebound for Heineken. "We see deep change underway at Heineken," drinks-business analyst Edward Mundy at Jefferies wrote in a recent research note. "As confidence in Heineken's compounding potential builds, shares should re-rate."
--REGIONAL SPLIT: Third-quarter growth is likely to be driven by the group's Asia-Pacific business, which could see volumes rise by more than 10%, analysts forecast. In Europe, Heineken's largest market by revenue, volume growth is by contrast likely to be insipid and could turn negative in the year's final months, according to consensus. Still, good weather in Europe over the July-September period could offer some relief to Heineken's volumes in the region, analysts at J.P. Morgan wrote.
