Mastercard (MA) and Tech Mahindra have launched a partnership to support business-to-business payments by embedding secure virtual card and payment capabilities into clients' enterprise resource planning and procurement platforms, Tech Mahindra said Monday.

The project will allow clients to optimize working capital, boost spending controls, and accelerate payment execution and reconciliation, Tech Mahindra said.

The partnership will combine Tech Mahindra's enterprise transformation resources with Mastercard's embedded payments capabilities and virtual card ecosystem to back clients' management of commercial payments, the company said.
