Japanese equities opened higher Tuesday, mirroring Wall Street's advance after Anthropic's IPO filing was made ahead of major tech earnings and the Federal Reserve's rate call.

The Nikkei 225 added 379.4 points, or 0.6%, to 62,569.08 at market open.

Alphabet and Microsoft will report earnings results on Wednesday, with Amazon and Intel following Thursday.

The Fed is expected to hold rates steady on Wednesday after September's hike.

Elsewhere, Brent crude closed below $115 as officials from several nations headed to Tehran seeking to restart talks and avert a wider Middle East conflict.
