Shares of DMC Global were trading higher in the after-hours market, following the release of third-quarter financial results that showed sales rising and the company swinging to a gain for the quarter.
After the bell, the stock was trading 14.5% higher on the Nasdaq, at $6.13. Shares finished Tuesday's regular session with a 0.3% loss, closing at $5.35.
After the bell, DMC Global reported third-quarter earnings per share of 59 cents on sales of $172.8 million. In the year-ago period, the company had a loss per share of 10 cents on sales of $151.5 million.
Fourth-quarter sales are expected to be in a range of $154 million to $164 million, the company said. The guidance reflects normal seasonal moderation at Arcadia, its building products business, DMC Global said. The guidance doesn't contemplate increased disruptions in international supply chains because of ongoing hostilities in the Middle East, it also said.
