CITIC Securities' (SHA:600030, HKG:6030) indirectly owned unit, CSI MTN, issued $20 million worth of overseas bonds, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.
The issuance is part of the securities company's overseas medium-term note program, which was launched in March 2022.
CSI MTN is a special purpose vehicle established to issue bonds under the program. CITIC Securities International, CSI MTN's direct parent, will guarantee the amount for the issuance.
