Livzon Pharmaceutical Group (HKG:1513) said China's National Medical Products Administration approved its Wandai Tang Granules for marketing.
The traditional Chinese medicine is used to treat excessive vaginal discharge, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filings. Developed by the company's subsidiary Sichuan Guangda Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, it is the first product of its kind approved for marketing in China.
The drugmaker said the approval is not expected to have a material impact on its operating results in the near term.
