President Donald Trump said on Oct. 29 on X that the U.S. economy is growing at 3.4% and that core inflation remained low.
He said consumer spending was “way up,” business investment was “way up,” and investment in new equipment “exploded” by 21%, which he argued means record numbers of factories and companies are being built and expanded in the United States.
“Today I am pleased to report, in Breaking News this morning, that the U.S. Economy is BOOMING at 3.4 PERCENT — A Historic Level of Economic Growth,” he wrote, adding, “We are smashing expectations — with today’s numbers beating 72% of economists’ forecasts.”
Trump warned that “if the Dumocrats win the Midterms, they will burn it all down,” urging voters, “If you want to keep this Growth going, you must vote REPUBLICAN.”
He described the economy as “ROARING” and wrote that “Record Numbers of Factories and Companies are being built and expanded in the U.S.A.” He signed the post “President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
