SK Hynix's Free Operating Cash Flow Likely to Grow Further in 4Q

Dow Jones10-30 08:41

0041 GMT - SK Hynix's free operating cash flow is likely to grow further in 4Q after jumping 4.5-fold from a year earlier in 3Q, sufficiently covering its expected increase in capital expenditure, CreditSights' Nicholas Chen and Pius Xue say. The analysts expect the South Korean memory-chip maker's revenue to more than quadruple from a year earlier in the October-December quarter. The revenue increase will be driven by higher-than-expected shipments of DRAM and NAND products, the two main types of memory chips, as well as ramped-up production of value-added products such as higher-priced HBM4, they says. The company's EBITDA margin is expected to reach the low-to-mid 80% range in 4Q, they add.
