BorgWarner has secured three conquest business wins with a global
powertrain technology leader for turbochargers intended for
light-vehicle gasoline platforms.
The awards comprise one contract for BorgWarner’s variable turbine
geometry (VTG) turbocharger and two contracts for its wastegate
turbocharger. The technology is planned for use on the customer’s
platforms in South America and Europe.
Production of all three turbochargers is scheduled to begin in
2027.
