Apple's (AAPL) main production partner Hon Hai Precision Industry, or Foxconn, expects that its worldwide footprint will allow it to meet demand for the foldable $2,000 iPhone Duo, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing the manufacturer's rotating Chief Executive Michael Chiang.
The phone, mostly built at Foxconn's plant in central China, has quickly sold out in stories while online orders are expected to begin arriving in late January, the report said.
Chiang said the company has 240 sites in 24 countries that will eventually allow it to supply the phone in a timely way, the report said.
Apple and FoxConn did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
