ZWS said its core growth is expected to deliver a 6% compound annual growth rate from 2022 through 2026, extending a record of positive core growth that the company said has lasted 16 consecutive years. Its Q3 2026 presentation also outlined a longer-term growth profile of mid-single digits or higher, supported by multiple operating initiatives.
The presentation focused on the durability and composition of growth rather than providing detailed quarterly revenue, earnings, free cash flow or segment results. A historical chart showed revenue expansion from 2011 through the latest 12-month period in 2026, including contributions from both core growth and acquisitions.
Growth priorities
ZWS identified product-line simplification, expansion into secular and new markets, and market-share gains among the components of its longer-term growth framework. The company indicated that several of these levers could provide low-single-digit contributions.
The framework also incorporates underlying market growth while showing price as a roughly 1% drag. Acquisitions remain part of the company’s broader revenue record and growth strategy, though the presentation did not provide specific transaction plans or financial targets for future deals.
ZWS also emphasized product usability as an operating priority, describing its offerings as designed to be easier to install, commission, operate and maintain.
Market outlook
The presentation showed differing trajectories for two market categories. One is projected to move from a 4% compound annual decline during 2022-2026 to 3% annual growth from 2026-2030. The other is shown growing at a 7% annual rate through 2026 before moderating to 4% from 2026-2030.
Those projections point to uneven end-market conditions within the company’s planning assumptions. The longer-term growth framework therefore depends on ZWS executing its product simplification, new-market and share-gain initiatives while navigating the negative pricing contribution and varying rates of market expansion.
