TotalEnergies (TTE) said Friday it would cut diesel prices to 2.15 euros ($2.41) per liter, at 705 of its access service-stations in France, starting on Saturday.
The access stations represent about 60% of company fuel sales, TotalEnergies said.
The company will start passing on the lower diesel price to other, additional stations in its network starting on Monday, but dependent on developments in international diesel markets, TotalEnergies said.
In any event, a ceiling of 2.25 euros per liter on diesel will be adhered to throughout its network in France, TotalEnergies said.
In addition, a discount of 200 euros per cubic meter of heating oil will apply from Monday through Jan. 31, the company said.
TotalEnergies will also apply a discount of 0.20 euros on non-road diesel (compared against the international diesel market price) for farmers, fishers, and public works companies, the company said.
