0833 GMT - Airbus's earnings guidance for the year looks slightly conservative if the group manages to hit its plane delivery goal, Citi's Charles Armitage writes in a note. The European plane maker is forecasting adjusted earnings before interest and taxes of around 7.5 billion euros ($8.37 billion) this year and is aiming to deliver roughly 870 planes to customers. Armitage estimates the company will ship about 855 to 860 aircraft and points out that consensus for adjusted EBIT is already between 7.65 billion euros and 7.7 billion euros. Shares are up 1.7%.
