Church & Dwight (CHD) is expected to deliver strong Q3 quarterly results and potentially raise guidance, Oppenheimer said in a note Wednesday.
The company is scheduled to report the results on Oct. 30.
The analysts said they expect the company to at least meet Q3 management guidance for about 3% organic sales growth and earnings per share of $0.89, supported by steady demand, product innovation, and strong brands such as Hero and TheraBreath.
Management could raise the lower end of its 2026 guidance range, however, it may reinvest some of its upside into the business, limiting the size of any outlook increase, the analysts added.
"In all, we view the setup as a bit less attractive into the print and would take advantage of any profit taking that materializes," the analysts said, adding that they remain positive on the company's long-term prospects.
Oppenheimer raised its price target on Church & Dwight to $120 from $115 and kept its outperform rating.
