Luxshare Precision Industry (SHE:002475, HKG:2475) reported third-quarter growth in top- and bottom-line metrics as business momentum picked up, effectively offsetting forex pressures and high input costs.
The Shenzhen-based electronic components manufacturer, known for assembling and supplying parts for Apple's iPhones, reported a near-15% jump in operating revenue to 110.51 billion yuan. A lean operating structure, stronger demand for new and existing offerings, and the positive impact of the recently acquired Leoni Group drove the increase, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Net profit attributable to shareholders for the three months ended Sept. 30 was 5.21 billion yuan, up 7% from last year, the company said, while guiding a 15% to 20% increase in the metric for the full year.
Looking ahead, Luxshare is sticking to its plans to pursue more customers in consumer electronics, communication and data centers, and automotive segments.
The company said its strategy includes partnering with physical AI companies to bring more smart devices to market, developing power and thermal management solutions for high-speed computing infrastructure, and ramping up in-house testing and production of auto parts and components.
Additionally, the company declared a dividend of 0.60 yuan per 10 shares for the latest quarter, payable on Dec. 23, and set the record date at Nov. 16.
Hong Kong shares were last down nearly 4%, while Shenzhen shares fell 3% in midday trading on Friday.
