Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (TYO:9104) raised its full-year attributable profit forecast to 300 billion yen from 240 billion yen, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.
EPS estimates were adjusted to 872.68 yen from 698.27 yen, and revenue to 2.370 trillion yen from 2.230 trillion yen for the fiscal year ending March 2027.
The company also revised its fiscal first-half attributable profit forecast upward to 178 billion yen from 137 billion yen, with EPS rising to 517.93 yen from 398.66 yen and revenue to 1.275 trillion yen from 1.235 trillion yen.
The revisions reflect dry bulk and energy market conditions remaining above previously assumed levels, along with stronger-than-expected performance at equity-method affiliate Ocean Network Express, its container shipping business.
