Stocks to Watch: AMD, CoreWeave, McDonald's

Dow Jones18:37

SpaceX (SPCX): Elon Musk's rockets-and-AI company slid more than 3% premarket after Democrats swept Congress and unseated the Republican governor of Texas, a key state for planned buildouts of data centers. Musk's Tesla (TSLA) fell about 3.5%.

Trump Media & Technology (DJT): The president's social-media company sank nearly 7% ahead of the opening bell following the midterm election results.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD): The chip maker's shares surged premarket after it beat Wall Street expectations for sales in the latest quarter.

CoreWeave (CRWV): The data-center builder dipped ahead of the open. The defeat of Republican governors in Texas and Ohio has raised the potential for state-level policies that could slow the AI infrastructure buildout.

Hanwha Solutions (KR:9830): The South Korean solar-panel maker jumped 19% as the election results appeared to improve prospects for renewable-energy firms in the U.S. In Europe, shares of Danish wind-power developer Orsted (DK:ORSTED) rallied 7%.

Qualcomm (QCOM): The chip maker reports earnings after markets close today. Other companies giving quarterly updates include McDonald's (MCD) and Uber Technologies (UBER).
